Introducing the Ashur Passover Dish  ("Emanating Exodus" dish): A Timeless Blend of Tradition and Artistry

Experience the essence of Jewish tradition brought to life in a breathtaking masterpiece, the Ashur "Emanating Exodus" Passover Dish. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this exceptional piece seamlessly weaves together the rich tapestry of Passover symbolism and contemporary design, inviting you to embark on a journey through history and faith with each passing Seder.

At the heart of this masterpiece lies a beautiful, heavy slice of live-edge wood, its organic soft contours echoing the passage of time and the stories woven into its grain. Encased within a mesmerizing aqua-tinted resin, the wood appears suspended in a moment of eternal beauty, merging the tangible and the ethereal.

The focal point of the Ashur "Emanating Exodus" Passover Dish is the collection of round metal dishes, each one a canvas for the Hebrew names of the symbolic food items that represent the core elements of the Passover holiday. Crafted with precision and reverence, these very subtly etched Hebrew inscriptions connect generations, bridging the gap between ancient rituals and modern aesthetics.

Nestled ingeniously within precisely shaped cavities, the metal dishes appear to escape from the very edge of the wooden canvas—a poignant reminder of the Israelites' escape from the confines of Egypt. This visual metaphor resonates deeply, as the arrangement symbolizes liberation and the boundless journey towards spiritual and physical freedom.

Balanced upon four sleek stainless steel legs, the tray stands as a testament to both form and function. Carefully considered, each leg is fitted with a silicone plug, ensuring your dining table remains unscathed, thus allowing you to focus solely on the meaningful connections shared around the Seder table.

A high resistance varnish serves as the final touch, preserving the impeccable craftsmanship and enhancing the natural beauty of the wood, ensuring that the Ashur "Emanating Exodus" Passover Dish can be treasured for generations to come.

Completing this artistic narrative is the Hebrew word for Passover, elegantly and precisely lasered onto the wood, its warm brown hue adding a sense of depth and timelessness to the overall composition.

With the Ashur "Emanating Exodus" Passover Dish, the ancient story of the Israelites' journey from bondage to freedom finds new life in a tangible, awe-inspiring creation. This exceptional piece transcends mere function; it is an embodiment of history, faith, and the enduring power of tradition. As you gather around the Seder table, let this masterpiece be a catalyst for reflection, connection, and a celebration of both past and present.

  • Kibbutz Kfar Aza rebuilding fund.

This Kibbutz is located in Israel, about 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from the border with the Gaza Strip. On 7 October 2023, around 70 Hamas militants attacked Kfar Aza, a kibbutz, massacring residents and abducting several hostages.

We build everything in sunny south Florida, where the sun paints the sky in hues of tangerine and coral, and the air wraps you in a warm, sultry embrace. To us, it's a place where cultures collide and blend, creating a rich tapestry of diversity and acceptance.

Equally, South Florida is not without its storms—both meteorological and metaphorical. The threat of hurricanes looms, a reminder of the fragility of paradise. Although it is a lengthy process, most of the time, we use wood from trees that fell during storms. We mill the trunks to useable boards, air dry them for months, and then kiln dry the planks, preserving the beauty of fallen trees for generations to enjoy.
